This haute route has this name not only because the route is along the "Imperial crownd" but as well because the quality of ascent and descent are splendid. This crownd is made of the several famous 4000ma among the Dent Blanche, Obergabelhorn, Zinalrothorn, Weisshorn and Bishorn.

Unlike the classic haute route this one is only for strong intermediate skiers who already have a ski tour experience. Far from the crowded classic haute route you'll enjoy completely this very alpine ski tour.
